Châtelet Light-up wood and metal Now Playing record stand

Description

Châtelet lights up the record that is spinning. A soft, warm glow highlights the sleeve for the whole listen, like a shop window. In the evening, its light sets the mood as you listen.

A Now Playing record stand that puts the sleeve in the spotlight

The idea behind “Now Playing” is simple: the sleeve of the record on the turntable stays on display, facing you, for as long as it plays. Châtelet adds light. The sleeve stands out, even in a dimly lit room, and becomes the focal point of your listening corner.

It is the accessory for evening listening: main lights down, turntable on, the album lit up alongside. You can read the tracklist and always know what is playing.

Châtelet sits next to the turntable, on top of a record cabinet, on a shelf or a console table. For other ways to display your sleeves, browse our now playing record stands collection.

Finishes and style

Châtelet combines wood and metal. The wood brings a warm note that echoes the colour of the light; the metal gives it a fine line. The stand works with light or dark wooden furniture as well as a more industrial interior, without stealing the show from the sleeve. The light stays focused on the album that is playing.

Switched on next to the turntable, Châtelet also acts as a subtle source of light during your listening evenings.

Dimensions and installation

Châtelet measures 19.5 cm wide, 9.5 cm deep and 21 cm high. Its compact size fits on a unit top, even when the turntable already takes up much of the surface.

It complements a record player stand or storage unit: every new album spends a moment under its light before going back into the compartments.
