Voltaire Mid-century record player stand with 4 cubbies 52 cm

Description

Voltaire brings your listening set-up together on a unit with a mid-century look. Turntable, amplifier and records each have their place, in just 52 cm of width. A complete base for a living room, bedroom or study.

A record player and hi-fi stand in three zones

This record player stand is organised from top to bottom:

• the turntable sits on the rimmed top;
• the shelf takes the amplifier or speakers;
• at the bottom, four vertical cubbies store your collection upright, ready to browse.

You go from choosing a record to playing it without leaving the unit: everything is in one place, and your system can be read at a glance.

The rim around the top frames the turntable and gives it a clearly defined spot. The vertical cubbies divide your collection into four groups, by genre, decade or mood for example, so you can find an album without searching.

Finishes and style

Voltaire draws on the codes of mid-century furniture: simple volumes, a rimmed top and tapered legs. The legs give it a light silhouette that doesn’t crowd the room. The wood suits an interior in natural tones, wooden floors or vintage furniture. It also works in a more current scheme, where it adds a retro touch.

• Dimensions: 52 cm wide, 40 cm deep, 75 cm high;
